Neo-Con Watch

Thanks to Bob from Lake Zurich for the many neo-con pieces he sends me. The latest piece from salon.com, gives you some indication of who and what these policy smurfs really are.  It’s frightening to me that anyone listens to these rosy cheeked, gray flannel wearing, little panty boys.  Even more frightening though is that our President not only listens to, but implements many of the policy initiatives these “legacy” lizards come up with.  The Neo Cons, led by people like Robert Kagan, Bill Kristol, and their daddy’s have, through publications such as the Weekly Standard, (a must read for all wannabe rosy cheeked chicken-hawk internationalists), and policy mills like the American Enterprise Institute, (short for I suffer from societal dysfunction), have managed to influence foreign policy for the better part of a decade now, much to the detriment of my country.

These are men, and in all sincerity I use that term very-very loosely, who live in a world dominated by their concern for profit.  Key of course to these potential profits is the exporting of democracy by force, (seems a contradiction to me), in order to spur even longer term business investment and profit potential for American corporations.  It matters little to them that real Americans pay with real blood for their skewed and treasonous visions.

The coup de grace of course, is the creation of an imperial Presidency.  They much prefer a system of government where all power comes from, and emanates to the executive, preferably an executive of their choosing.  This isn’t conjecture, read the bios of the leading Neo-Cons in this county, and judge their works.  They care little for American sovereignty, their patriotism is an open question, and their allegiances seem to be to everything and everyone but America and its’ citizens.

While they have been exposed by their dysfunctional and dangerous policies, its time to discredit and destroy these malevolent little pricks before they regroup.  Maybe we could ask them to show us how much they really support the “Surge” by spending a few months with an U.S. Army unit patrolling the streets of Baghdad, instead of sending our sons, daughters, mothers, and fathers to do it for them, fortunately for the Neo-Cons, that would require something they have in short supply, COURAGE.
